BI Architect/Project Manager

Working with business teams to determine business intelligence reporting requirements for company projects and as well as for external customers. The design and development of reports, data integrity and security and supporting data administration. Work and assist team members to meet project objectives and schedules and operational SLA’s, work closely with the data warehouse ETL manager and data warehouse support team including ETL developers and data warehouse architect. Design and develop data warehouse/BI reporting platform and application to ensure operational availability and scalability. Requires hands on SQL experience, knowledge of the internal workings of a BI tool and related database tuning best practices

 

Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related position.

 

Practical Experience: Data warehousing and reporting management, relational database technology supporting data warehouse/BI reporting *e.g.  Cognos, SQL Server and Teradata. General Management within technology organizations, budget tracking, interviewing/hiring and forecasting demand for resource operating across multiple parallel projects. Strong understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling, SQL query optimization, data warehouse architecture. Experience in project management and SDLC methodologies preferred. Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills. Ability to multitask and respond quickly in a fast paced environment. Experience in BI and statistical applications, data warehousing methodologies and related tools such as Visio, SQL Server and Teradata and highly desirable.

SALARY:         $92,685.00/YEAR
