Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: 915 West Imperial Highway, Suite 100, Brea, CA 92821

Collaborate closely with both IT and business users to understand requirements, design, develop and implement solutions. Responsible for development and support for our data warehouse and business intelligence applications. Responsibilities include:

Gather requirements for the business intelligence/datawarehouse applications.
Design and develop ETL interfaces between multiple OLTP and OLAP systems using informatica or similar ETL tool.
Create business intelligence reports using cognos.
Create required database objects in oracle and procedures as required using Oracle PL/SQL.
Write execution scripts using UNIX shell scripting.
Create unit and system test plans.
Migration and deployment.
Assist and train QA Analyst with testing ETL interfaces and BI applications.
Support business analyst and end users in creating reports and dashboards.
Performing tuning of ETL extracts and report queries.

Requirements:

*Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field

*5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst or related position.

Required Skills:

*Data warehouse and BI technologies including Informatica, Cognos, Oracle, Oracle PL/SQL and Unix.

*Design, development, testing, production support and maintenance.
