CENTRALIZING ENTERPRISE ANALYTICS

Kaiser Permanente, one of the largest healthcare providers in the western United states. It has enterprise systems that cater to different user groups in the corporate, hospitals and pharmacies that need information quickly and easily.
The reporting and analytics applications are distributed and operate in Silos.

Aviana helped launch and implement a program for making enterprise analytics into a centralized asset. The solution centralized the data from various regions into a central data warehouse, mainly for the initial finance and pharmacy data phase. The “Finstat” module builds KPIs on the raw data gathered in GL to measure the financial performance of each business unit/ hospital. Similar reporting infrastructure development was done to centralize Pharmacy data.

STABILIZING BI / DW ENVIRONMENT

MGM had an extensive implementation of enterprise analytics software, which had developed several problems because of ad-hoc solutions, architectural issues, and ever-changing usage patterns in the organization.

MGM engaged Aviana to assess their enterprise Business Intelligence and Data Management environment. Aviana performed a thorough analysis of MGM’s technology environment for DW and BI and provided detailed recommendations on how the environment can be made more available and stable. The majority of the recommended solutions were implemented by MGM that improved the availability and adoption of the BI environment significantly.

IMPROVING CUSTOMER CARE EFFICIENCY

Experian collects and aggregates consumer credit information on over one billion people and businesses. Customer care call centers play a major role in providing best possible service to customers and their retention over a long time. To manage the call center team effectively, they need visibility into team’s performance, scheduling and resource forecasting. Experian had a sub-optimal way to get insights from customer care data.

Aviana was engaged in building a customer care BI solution to address the challenges faced by the Experian team. Aviana was responsible for building a customer care data mart, and a BI solution to integrate data from multiple sources – call data, resource scheduling and forecasting data to name a few.
